First Upholstery Project

So we've had this coffee table that we haven't actually used since we've moved in. It's been one of those "projects in the making" for some time now. You know the ones that you just move from room to room because you don't have the supplies you need yet to get the job done?! Well my husband has been ever so kindly, strongly suggesting that I get it done or get rid of it. So, while he was out of town this week, I did it! It actually went very well, once I figured out how to refill the staple gun! I added foam, batting and fabric and transformed my outdated coffee table into a sitting bench for my breakfast nook. I was going to paint the legs, but since I've kinda got a country chic thing going on in my kitchen right now with my burlap and chandeliers, I just left it natural. Turned out pretty well...I think! Now I just have to find the will to paint those cabinets!!
